Noah And The Whale: The First Days Of Spring [Trailer]

Noah And The Whale

Last year, Noah And The Whale astonished the world with their LP Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down. They’re now poised to follow that release with a new album and an accompanying film. Both are dubbed The First Days Of Spring, and we now have a sneak peek at what resides inside, thanks to a new trailer for the release.

True to music-based films, the cinematography is excellent. And the music follows suit; it’s a continuation of Noah And The Whale’s excellence from last year’s release. The song that backs much of the trailer features their signature highly emotive orchestrated pop.

I’m noticing a trend here. Some bands are recording music videos for every one of their songs, like Manchester Orchestra off this year’s Mean Everything To Nothing, and Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros is putting together a feature film for their recent release Up From Below.

Noah And The Whale is set to release The First Days Of Spring this coming October on Cherrytree/Interscope.
