Born in 1989, Caroline Rose is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. They have released music under their own name since 2013. As of 2023, Rose has released five full-length studio albums, which include the following:
- America Religious (2013)
- I Will Not Be Afraid (2014)
- Loner (2018)
- Superstar (2019)
- The Art of Forgetting (2023)
Rose’s first two LPs drew influence from country, whereas Loner and Superstar dove into indie pop and synth-pop. The Art of Forgetting sheds some of the sardonic and witty elements from the mid-era Caroline Rose releases for something much more emotional, heartfelt, and personal.
Rose identifies as queer and uses they/them pronouns.
Fun fact: Rose has a BA in Architecture from Wellesley College in Massachusetts (2011).
