Echo and the Bunnymen is an influential rock band that formed in Liverpool, England in 1978. Amidst nearly 45 years as a band (aside from a hiatus in the 1990s), the band continues to be active as of 2023. However, the only two remaining members are the original vocalist Ian McCulloch and guitarist Will Sergeant.
The band has experienced a fair share of chart success and critical acclaim over their career, though much of it was in their early days circa Porcupine (1983), Ocean Rain (1984), and their self-titled LP from 1987.
