FensePost Top 24: The Best EPs of 2011

It’s hard to imagine that just a few short months ago we were enjoying sunny summer days. 2011 was my best year yet, having achieved a few milestones: four and a half years running FensePost, riding my bike from Seattle to Portland and logging over 1,000 total on those two wheels between January and December, enjoying life with the love of my life (Andi), and a few defining mindset changes that put the two of us on a path to minimalism and frugality.

Fense’s Radio Show: November 4, 2011

FensePost Podcast Series: FenseCast #2, Cooking With Fense

Tonight I hit the kitchen to compile the second FensePost podcast, or FenseCast, while cooking up one of my signature dishes: spicy steak enchiladas with homemade sauce. For desert, a delicious slice of gluten free cake courtesy Andi (the girlfriend), whose cake photo you can see in this post. I hit a wall today. This happens when you’ve been working just a bit too hard, going too fast-paced, attempting to store too much information. Everything stops. Thought. Movement. You just go blank. There is music out there with the ability to draw one out of such a moment (or, rather, reactivate brainwaves and movement, etc.), and Suturee (MySpace) is a perfect example.
