Radical Face is the moniker held by Ben Cooper, the solo project from one half of Electric President. This project is blends a sound familiar in that band, but with fewer electronics and more orchestration along the lines of eclectic orchestral groups Efterklang and Anathallo, mixed with a little Michael Nau (Page France, Cotton Jones). “Doorways” is similarly melodic and features an off-beat piano. The song is off the band’s latest release, a beautifully crafted, six-song EP called Touch The Sky.

On June 6, 2006, FensePost went live. Since its inception, I’ve written more than 1,000 album reviews and countless features, track reviews, live reviews, and video reviews. My collection has grown exponentially. I have a room in my house devoted entirely to records. CDs go in the living room and I’m out of shelving space. To say FensePost has become a big part of my life would be an understatement. It’s as much a second job as it is a hobby.

Electric President could be the lovechild of Postal Service and Page France for the gratey, growly vocals backed by the hyped up electro/guitar pop that dominates the music. The video for “Monsters” finds Electric President following their self-titled release with a similarly eerie electro-pop sound.
