Fense DJs at Bumbershoot: The Playlist

Dev Sherlock from Hype Machine asked me to DJ a brief set at their Bumbershoot tent. The prospect was a nerve-wracking one: I DJ weekly at KSVR, but broadcasting behind the curtain of radio is completely different than being in front of people. Still, I said yes and put together a playlist.

Crystal Stilts: Future Folklore

Crystal Stilts debut LP, Alight of Night, was released on Slumberland back in 2008. They followed it in 2011 with In Love with Oblivion. Crystal Stilts: Love Is A Wave [pReview]

I’ll admit, Crystal Stilts self-titled EP and debut full-length Alight Of Night passed me by a bit. Don’t get me wrong – I love the sound. It just failed to live up to the garage-pop that was Up Against The Legends by The Legends and was soon to be The Pains Of Being Pure At… Continue reading Crystal Stilts: Love Is A Wave [pReview]
