Snails (Feature)

Snails is a lovely indie pop band from Bristol that plays sleepy songs in the vein of California Snow Story and Fireflies. The band is releasing a new 7-inch single this month on The Great Pop Supplement record label, featuring “Shed like an hour” and “Daylight ends”.

Bordering on one end bedroom pop and on another folksy twee, the duo of Dan Weltman and Mog Fry have created a project that produces luscious pop tunes perfect for the pending rainy season. Melancholy but pleasant, these two songs will make a dreary overcast day feel near perfect.

You definitely won’t want to miss “Shed like an hour”, a song that includes a beautiful folk-pop instrumental foray in its second half. And “Daylight ends” is a flawless fall pop song, finding Weltman and Fry joining their vocals in harmonic bliss.

Check out “Daylight ends” below and do visit The Great Pop Supplement to pick up your copy of this limited single (from the look of it, this label sells out of its records pretty fast). You can also grab the single digitally from bandcamp.
