Fair Ohs: Everything Is Dancing (Video)

Oh Fair Ohs, how I love your name. Started a few years back from three dudes in East London, Fair Ohs began under a different moniker and with what I’d assume to be a different sound (I haven’t heard it, but it was described in the press release as “raucous hardcore”). They thankfully settled on the name Fair Ohs and have donned a sound that hints of lo-fi garage rock with hints of a foreign beach.

Fair Ohs recently signed to Lefse Records for their debut full length LP, Everything Is Dancing. To celebrate the joyous occasion, they created this video for the title track. States the press release, this album was influenced by “West African funk, 60’s Psychedelic Rock, Eritrean Guayla music and a whole heap of Fleetwood Mac.” That should be enough to get you stoked.

If not, here’s a teaser: If you enjoy gluttony, the beach, superheros, and dancing you’ll love this video.

“Everything Is Dancing” was directed by Dave Ma, who’s work also includes videos for Foals (several, in fact, including “Balloons”, “Olympic Airways” and “Sahara”), The Horrors, Lost Valentinos, Wild Beasts and Wolf Gang.

Everything Is Dancing is available now for pre-order from Lefse.
