Jeremy Burk: Clapping Song [Video]

Jeremy Burk

It’s been about ten months since Jeremy Burk was featured on Fensepost. Since then, he has officially released his debut album I Hope You Find What You’re Looking For via West Advocate Recordings and has been riding the coat tail of it’s modest appeal ever since. After hooking up with first time director Brent Anderson for his first video for “The Clapping Song”, our dance along folk friend is back on the Post to show us what exactly he has been up to.

Come follow along Burk as he takes us on a very real (HD even!) adventure through the great Northwest. Granting the fact that, much like the video, a lot of us in the far corner of the map wear silly beards and don’t go outside much, this is an excellent portrayal. The log trucks barrel down the broken highways as the Johnny Depp looking Jeremy strums along with his band of merry men, and woman, into a beautiful acoustic bliss even the midwestern crowd can appreciate. It is great to see that “The Clapping Song”, the obvious happy go lucky jump off single, now has a well-directed and well-conceived visual demonstration for all to share and love.
