Som,

Thanks for the reply! There Is No Enemy has definitely renewed my love of this band.

I had a lengthy drive home from Seattle today; cranked up Perfect From Now On and dwelled over the past fifteen years since its release. Especially "Randy Described Eternity" -- that song truly defined the album's Perfect From Now On title, namely that first word.

I agree with you on both "Boredom" and "Nowhere Lullaby". I'm sure, with time, they'll find their own special places.

Just picked up the album today and I agree 100 percent. I took the CD out of the package almost 7 hours ago and I am still listening to it on repeat at nearly 1 a.m. While others come close, such as "You In Reverse" and "Keep It Like A Secret" as you mentioned, this is the BtS album I've been waiting for since "Perfect From Now On."

At this point I think you're right on that Nowhere Lullaby might be the only - ahem - lull in the album, but I could see those strings growing on me overtime. I wasn't too excited about Boredom the first couple times through and now I quite like it. (I hadn't listened to any of the leaked tracks besides the single or read any reviews before buying the album. I trust that dude).

Faves so far are Aisle 13, Life's A Dream, and final two tracks for the very same reasons you described. Well-written review for a well-made album.

Bravo!
