School Police: Cover Art Feature

Circles by School Police

A few weeks ago, I got a note from Cari Palazzolo of Austin keyboard-pop group Belaire. The reason was her new project, School Police, a similarly poppy group that this time around found her splitting vocal responsibilities with a band member of the opposing gender.

Unlike Palazzolo’s other group, School Police relies less on tricked-out keys and more on crafty percussion and clever guitar licks. Most especially, these traits are forefront in “Before And After”, as well as “Invisible Circle”. When the group doubles up with male/female vocals, as found in both aforementioned tracks, they are at their best.

This dynamic foursome has a new EP out and they’ve opted to release it on 10 inches of beautiful black vinyl, encased in a sandwich with a screen-printed bun. The EP is called Circles and it’s the latest installment on the FensePost side-project Cover Art.

So, before you hop away, check out Circles by School Police on Cover Art.
