So many lights of the past years are beginning to shine brighter than ever once thought. Children from the 80’s are sure to either shun the music of their birth years, or hold onto as fond as their memories of times with their Teddy Ruxpins. Or they could be more like White Lies and take the positives of the past three decades, and completely erase the negatives. This would create more sounds like their highly acclaimed album To Lose My Life. Which is a truly ingenious album begging for all to accept as the future of the past reconciled.
The obvious highlight, and title track, “To Lose My Life”, is a demented reincarnation of the spirits of so many things that should have never been forgotten. The entire reflections of dishwasher friendly pop/rock has never been more clear. “A Place To Hide” tries to fill the same bill, but has such a star crazed originality that any Aquarius or Taurus would laugh at the pop friendly comparison of stars and nights. The charismatic approach of White Lies is constantly available, and sure to be constantly continuous.
The electronic and reflective madness of this ingenious fellowship is a larger than life retrospective of life itself. Every song the produce is an anthem of more than epic proportion. There is no way you could not respect these impeccably capable artists. They protest the average, and distrust the mundane. Their indescribable displays of talent are something will beyond compare.
