Not all hiatuses are indefinite. That became apparent this morning when Labrador dropped in with the new Suburban Kids With Biblical Names single, “1999”. In true SKWBN form, their upcoming release is simply titled 4.
Now, I don’t have much time, as I’m chest deep in last nights’ season premier of LOST, so I’m going to make this quick. Remember all those catchy tunes from albums 1 through 3?
Tunes like “Funeral Face” and “Rent A Wreck” are very compatible with the new single “1999”; it’s just as bizarre and fun and filled with the great pop that came before the SKWBN three year hiatus.
4 by Suburban Kids With Biblical Names will hit stores February 4 on Labrador Records.
