The Enright House: Scattering The Sun [Video]

The Enright House

Written by Fense

The Enright House (MySpace) is a masterful electronic and pop group from New Zealand that I discovered around the same time as Little Pictures (see my coverage of that band here). Both groups came to eep! productions for their videos and it’s easy to see why: eep! knows how to put together a great music video.

On “Scattering The Sun”, The Enright House maintains some of the electronic and pop elements, but infuses a hefty dose of shoegaze. And the video follows suit—shoegaze always seemed to go with nature and art and that’s exactly what this video hones in on here.

The Enright House’s debut album A Maze And Amazement is out now on A Low Hum Records. Also included below is a track from the album titled “We Might As Well Have Stayed Young”.
